Why chose nanopod?

The nanopod gives you more run time, better glide and much smoother transition in and out of the water line, all using your existing mast so you can quickly remove the pod when not using an assist system.

 The pod is supplied with a mast specific rubber insert with a rubber compound specifically selected to offer the best combination of friction to grip over the reduced surface area of the pod, while holding it extremely securely offering a positive connection to your mast. The rubber also has the added benefit of reducing motor transmitted vibration and is cushioned against your expensive mast. The mast is secured with a streamlined extremely durable strap which gives you position options for adjustment of tension to securely lock the pod in position.

Cheaper pods are generally home 3D printed are hard plastic and can result in permanent damage to your mast from movement against your mast.

We designed the Nanopod back in early 2024 to give the lowest profile interface possible below the waterline, reducing drag and minimising the transition of the motor above and below the waterline. You will notice the same profile of our nanopod has now been used for the integrated masts that have been released by most mast manufacturers. We have always sought to utilise our upgrades where possible with your existing kit, you can gain the same drag reduction while using your existing mast.

Why not use your existing mast and fit the nanopod!

This version of the NanoPod is designed specifically to fit all Foildrive V2  motors with the removable cables, this fits both standard motor and High power motors. This pod securely mounts to the existing holes in the back of your V2 motor without any modifications.

The NanoPod kit comprises of the pod, insert, mounting strap and tensioning tool, we also supply a full set of installation instructions. Simply remove your existing pod and motor mount and install the NanoPod in its place.

The Nanopod will fit ALL masts, if your mast is not listed, then select mast not listed from the dropdown and we will contact you to confirm your mast before shipment.
