Service and spares:
All systems are fully assembled and tested in the UK, where we have a full service and spares capability.
A full suite of spares are available from Hybrid Foils. This includes additional mastgrasp inserts for alternative masts and positions, spare blades, fixings, additional batteries, and accessories. If any required parts are not available on the website, please contact the team.
If a concern arises with any element of your Hybrid Foils system that cannot be resolved remotely, you may need to return your equipment to us for further investigation and repair.
Any repair costs will be communicated to you prior to work commencing.
The purchaser is responsible for all applicable postage, shipping costs, customs fees, duties, taxes, VAT etc that may be due.
Hybrid Foils is part of the eseafoil group.
Maintenance
Operating any equipment in a saltwater environment requires care, this is particularly the case when operating electrical equipment.
Details of routine maintenance requirements are listed within the manual to keep your system in optimal working order.
Precautions:
The Hybrid Foils Boost and Cruise operate are fitted with a streamlined folding propeller to reduce drag when unpowered. This design is unguarded and must be used by competent users who have read and understood the safe workings and operations of the systems.
Never open the electrical enclosure in the water and ensure that your hands are dry before opening the enclosure on dry land.
Warranty
Hybrid Foils warrants its products against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of sale to its initial customer.
This warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, tampered with or is installed or used in a manner that is inconsistent with Hybrid Foils written recommendations, specifications and/or instructions, or fails to perform due to normal wear and tear.
Hybrid Foils is not liable for special, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages including, but not limited to, loss, damage, personal injury, or any other expense, directly or indirectly arising from the use of or inability to use its products either separately or in combination with other products.
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN OR IN ANY OTHER FORM ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.
The battery used within your Hybrid Foils product carries a limited 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover any performance degradation that is associated with battery aging or misuse/water ingress.
